RUTABAGA REMOULADE

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS 

  • 4 cups rutabaga (swedes), grated with a mandolin for best results
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) yogurt
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon relish
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper

 

PREPARATION

Whisk together all the sauce ingredients. Add the rutabaga and mix well. Allow to macerate for one hour.

OPTIONAL: You can brighten up your salad by adding raisins or dried cranberries.
